Preventing Hair Loss!

Most of us face this problem now a days! Due to stress and pollution where ever we go, we tend to lose more hair than it grows. I love a really long hair, of-course my hair is enough long, but I love it when it touches my ankles. What should I do for that? I do shampoo with dove and condition it nicely twice in every week. Apply a pack on the scalp and so on.. I just wish it grows to what I desire within few months without loss of hair in the process.

How do we prevent hair loss completely or less? Have you faced this problem of losing hair anytime? Do let me know about this. thanks

Health Benefits Of Coffee!

Tallest Man

Robert Pershing Wadlow (February 22, 1918 – July 15, 1940) was the tallest person in history for whom there is irrefutable evidence. Wadlow is sometimes known as the Alton Giant or Giant of Illinois because he was born and grew up in Alton, Illinois.
Wadlow reached 8 ft 11.1 in (2.720 m) in height and weighed 439 lb (199 kg) at his death at age 22. His great size and his continued growth in adulthood was due to hypertrophy of his pituitary gland, which results in an abnormally high level of human growth hormone. He showed no indication of an end to his growth even at the time of his death. The 1998 Guinness Book of World Records mentions that Wadlow was still growing until he died and he could have exceeded 9 feet (2.74 m) in height.

1. Since ’06, Texas added nearly 3 times more jobs than all others combined. Nearly 4 times as many private sector jobs. You can go back to January 2001, a month after Rick Perry took office, and the numbers look similar. Or just the past year.
2. Since 2006, Texas added >100x more new jobs than New York and 10x second place Louisiana.
3. Since the recession “ended” in 2009, Texas has added exactly as many net new jobs as the rest of America’s 49 states combined.
4. Texas accounts for only about 8% of the nation’s population but 16.5% of U.S. exports. Texas is currently on top, and Texas exports are rising faster than the rest of the nation. Obama says he wants to double exports during his administration. Why doesn’t he look to Texas for the blueprint?
5. Texas has the second? lowest debt per capita, and as Erick mentioned, Texas recently had its bond rating upgraded from AA to AA+, its highest level ever.
As far as a “projected budget deficit,” Democrats said the same thing about this past sesssion for the 2012-2013 biennium. They wildly exaggerated the “deficit,” throwing out numbers like 27 billion. In the end, Texas modestly trimmed spending (by single-digit percentages) and didn’t raise taxes, and the Comptroller certified the budget as balanced, as is required by our Constitution in Texas.
Indeed, the Comptroller may very well boost revenue projections in Texas if these trends persist:
http://www.texasahead.org/economy/outlook.html
“Texas sales tax receipts for June 2011 were 7.2 percent higher than for June 2010.
For fiscal 2010, state sales tax receipts were down 6.6 percent from fiscal 2009, however sales tax collections have increased for 15 consecutive months, boosted by strong business spending in the oil and gas and manufacturing sectors. Retail sales also have improved, contributing to a 9 percent increase in sales tax receipts for the first 10 months of fiscal 2011.
Motor vehicle sales tax collections for June 2011 were 11.4 percent higher in Texas than for June 2010.”
So, revenues are increasing substantially. Shortfalls and surpluses all really depend on the economy. Texas has a surplus of somewhere between 6 and 7 billion dollars in a Rainy Day Fund, so if there is a shortfall due to a national double dip recession (increasingly likely, unfortunately), and it truly cannot be solved by trimming spending by a few percentage points (highly unlikely), lawmakers can rely on those billions in the Rainy Day Fund. Thank goodness Rick Perry didn’t allow that fund to be drained this year, despite Democrats and moderate Republicans working their hardest together to make that happen.
One thing about Texas’ budget is that it we do not use the baseline method of just adding to whatever we did last time (although sometimes they do that, de facto). We start from scratch every two years. Zero-based budgeting. It works great. We also have a robust sunset process that has no problem ending entire agencies if they can’t justify their existence. It’s not theoretical. Agencies and programs are often ended by the sunset process.
The other thing to consider about the Texas budget is that the biggest cost drivers right now aren’t state programs, really. It’s the federal program, Medicaid. Meanwhile, Texas is a tax-donor state, getting much less back than Washington takes in taxes.

A newlywed couple moves into their new house. One day the husband comes home from work and his wife says, "Honey, you know, in the upstairs bathroom one of the pipes is leaking, could you fix it?" The husband says, "What do I look like, Mr. Plumber?" A few days go by, and he comes home from work and his wife says, "Honey, the car won't start. I think it needs a new battery. Could you change it for me?" He says: "What do I look like, Mr. Goodwrench?" Another few days go by, and it's raining pretty hard. The wife finds a leak in the roof. She says, "Honey, there's a leak on the roof! Can you please fix it?" He says, "What do I look like, Bob Vila?" The next day the husband comes home, and the roof is fixed. So is the plumbing. So is the car. He asks his wife what happened. "Oh, I had a handyman come in and fix them," she says. "Great! How much is that going to cost me?" he snarls. Wife says: "Nothing. He said he'd do it for free if I either baked him a cake or slept with him." "Uh, well, what kind of cake did you make?" asks the husband. "What do I look like," she says, "Betty Crocker?"

A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer, “This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you.” The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, “Which do you want, son?” The boy takes the quarters and leaves. “What did I tell you?” said the barber. “That kid never learns!” Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store. “Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?” The boy licked his cone and replied, “Because the day I take the dollar, the game is over!”

It's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, and a man makes his way to his seat right at center ice. He sits down, noticing that the seat next to him is empty. He leans over and asks his neighbor if someone will be sitting there. "No" says the neighbor. "The seat is empty." "This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the Stanley Cup and not use it?" The neighbor says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Stanley Cup we haven't been to together since we got married." "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. That's terrible... But couldn't you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the seat?" The man shakes his head. "No,” he says. “They're all at the funeral."

On a passenger flight, the pilot comes over the public address system as usual and to greet the passengers. He tells them at what altitude they’ll be flying, the expected arrival time, and a bit about the weather, and advises them to relax and have a good flight.. Then, forgetting to turn off the microphone, he says to his co-pilot, "What would relax me right now is a cup of coffee and a blowjob." All the passengers hear it. As a stewardess immediately begins to run toward the cockpit to tell the pilot of his slip-up, one of the passengers stops her and says "Don’t forget the coffee!"

Spratlys issue

The Issue

The Philippines made their first claim in the area--which they
refer to as the Kalayaan islands--in 1975 and has been developing
oil in the region between the Spratlys and the island of Palawan
since 1976. The Philippines real history in the region began in May
1956 when a private Philippine expedition surveyed and occupied
some of the islands. The Philippines were a trusteeship of the
Allied powers at the time and the guarantee of Allied protection
kept the Philippines from garrisoning troops on its islands.
However, as that guarantee weakened the Philippines decided to beef
up its defense. In 1976, it set up a garrison on Palawan and in
1978 it established more soldiers on seven of the islands. There
are currently about 1,000 Marines stationed on the islands. In
1979, the Philippines stated that it only wanted control of the
seven islands under its control and administration and not the rest
of the archipelago.

China's claims to the island are based on the same history as
Taiwan's claim. The PRC government maintains that it is the
legitimate Chinese government and that, therefore, the
islands--which they call the Nansha islands--are their territory.
They have been the most belligerent in pursuing their claim. The
dispute between China and Vietnam picked up in 1988. Chinese naval
vessels sailed into the Spratlys in January 1988 and Chinese
marines started building defenses on one of the largest
islands--the first time China has settled soldiers on the islands.
In March, fighting broke out between Vietnam and China and China
sunk two Vietnamese ships. While they have moved to more political
means of dealing with the dispute, tensions remain high in the
area. Confrontation surfaced again when China contracted with a US
firm to begin testing for oil sights, even though the territorial
issue remains far from solved. Occassional harassment of fishermen
by all sides continues as well. Each of the six countries maintain
its claim to all the islands. The protagonists have been discussing
the possibility of shelving the sovereignty issue to undertake
joint development of its resources and have sent a joint scientific
team to run tests on resource potential.

Strongest Earthquake

Valdivia, Chile (1960) — 9.5
The most powerful quake on record killed at least 1,600 people and left 2 million homeless in Chile. The tsunami caused hundreds more deaths in Hawaii, Japan, and the Philippines. It caused $550 million in damage, including $500,000 along the U.S. West Coast.

Pacific Ring Of Fire

The Pacific Ring of Fire (or just the Ring of Fire) is an area where large numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean. In a 40,000 km (25,000 mi) horseshoe shape, it is associated with a nearly continuous series of oceanic trenches, volcanic arcs, and volcanic belts and/or plate movements. The Ring of Fire has 452 volcanoes and is home to over 75% of the world's active and dormant volcanoes. It is sometimes called the circum-Pacific belt or the circum-Pacific seismic belt.

Eruption of Mount St. Helens on July 22, 1980.
About 90% of the world's earthquakes and 80% of the world's largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. The next most seismic region (5–6% of earthquakes and 17% of the world's largest earthquakes) is the Alpide belt, which extends from Java to Sumatra through the Himalayas, the Mediterranean, and out into the Atlantic. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge is the third most prominent earthquake belt.

Earthquake Facts

The largest recorded earthquake in the United States was a magnitude 9.2 that struck Prince William Sound, Alaska on Good Friday, March 28, 1964 UTC.
The largest recorded earthquake in the world was a magnitude 9.5 (Mw) in Chile on May 22, 1960.
The earliest reported earthquake in California was felt in 1769 by the exploring expedition of Gaspar de Portola while the group was camping about 48 kilometers (30 miles) southeast of Los Angeles.
Before electronics allowed recordings of large earthquakes, scientists built large spring-pendulum seismometers in an attempt to record the long-period motion produced by such quakes. The largest one weighed about 15 tons. There is a medium-sized one three stories high in Mexico City that is still in operation.
The average rate of motion across the San Andreas Fault Zone during the past 3 million years is 56 mm/yr (2 in/yr). This is about the same rate at which your fingernails grow. Assuming this rate continues, scientists project that Los Angeles and San Francisco will be adjacent to one another in approximately 15 million years.
The East African Rift System is a 50-60 km (31-37 miles) wide zone of active volcanics and faulting that extends north-south in eastern Africa for more than 3000 km (1864 miles) from Ethiopia in the north to Zambezi in the south. It is a rare example of an active continental rift zone, where a continental plate is attempting to split into two plates which are moving away from one another.
The first “pendulum seismoscope” to measure the shaking of the ground during an earthquake was developed in 1751, and it wasn’t until 1855 that faults were recognized as the source of earthquakes.
Moonquakes (“earthquakes” on the moon) do occur, but they happen less frequently and have smaller magnitudes than earthquakes on the Earth. It appears they are related to the tidal stresses associated with the varying distance between the Earth and Moon. They also occur at great depth, about halfway between the surface and the center of the moon.
Although both are sea waves, a tsunami and a tidal wave are two different unrelated phenomenona. A tidal wave is a shallow water wave caused by the gravitational interactions between the Sun, Moon, and Earth. A tsunami is a sea wave caused by an underwater earthquake or landslide (usually triggered by an earthquake) displacing the ocean water.
The hypocenter of an earthquake is the location beneath the earth’s surface where the rupture of the fault begins. The epicenter of an earthquake is the location directly above the hypocenter on the surface of the earth.

Did you know that banana is the most nutritious fruits?

Nutrition and research
Bananas are an excellent source of vitamin B6 and contain moderate amounts of vitamin C, manganese and potassium.
Along with other fruits and vegetables, consumption of bananas may be associated with a reduced risk of colorectal cancer and in women, breast cancer and renal cell carcinoma.
Banana ingestion may affect dopamine production in people deficient in the amino acid tyrosine, a dopamine precursor present in bananas.
In India, juice is extracted from the corm and used as a home remedy for jaundice, sometimes with the addition of honey, and for kidney stones.
Individuals with a latex allergy may experience a reaction to bananas.

There is a New Zodiac SIGN!!!

If you look every day at the horoscope in the newspaper, now you need to make sure you read the appropriate box. There's been another zodiac sign, Ophiuchus, "that belong to people born between 29 November and 17 December.

Astronomer Parke Kankl says that the new constellation of planets and a change of position of the Earth is changed the system of horoscope signs, reports the "Huffington Post".

Apparently the dates are from certain signs are wrong, because the position of planets and constellations from the time of the beginnings of astrology is significantly changed. Given that the division into 12 horoscope signs dates back three thousand years ago, Kankl says that it is necessary that these changes take into account that the system be included 13 sign as wll, Ophiuchus, and it's between Scorpio and Sagittarius.

Since the introduction of yet another disturbing sign of the entire system, check again what you are in the horoscope:

Capricorn - Jan 20 to Feb 16
Aquarius - Feb 16 to Mar 11
Pisces - Mar 11 to Apr 18
Aries - Apr 18 to May 13
Taurus - May 13 to Jun 21
Gemini - Jun 21 to Jul 20
Cancer - Jul 20 to Aug 10
Leo - Aug 10 to Sep 16
Virgo - Sep 16 to Oct 30
Libra - Oct 30 to Nov 23
Scorpius - Nov 23 to Nov 29
Ophiuchus - Nov 29 to Dec 17
Sagittarius - Dec 17 to Jan 20

Is Time Travel Possible?

Time travel has been the main topic of science fiction and has fascinated human minds ever since H G Wells' 'Time Machine'. Modern say research in physics shows that this actually is not possible because of the revolution of the theory of relativity. It is known that space and time are intertwined. Any body that has mass causes the space-time around it to curve so that it accommodates that body with mass. You can only move forward in time, although you can move forward and back in any of the three spatial directions.

Underwater Wedding

Unusual underwater wedding of a couple from Mexico was held in Cancun. A good luck with them divided over two hundred people at a depth of five meters.

Alberto Dal Lago (41) and Karl Munuia (43) have decided to get married underwater. With this step, they like to point out the vulnerability of sharks. Alberto and Karl exchanged rings, signaled their vows and kissed each other before they emerged to the surface.

Alberto, diving instructor, and Karl, a real estate agent, met during a joint dive and realized that they share the same passion. Alberto said he was attracted by a woman who loves the sea and shares his love for sharks.

On the wedding was invited over 300 guests from South Africa, Egypt, Brazil, France and Italy. But only 205 of them could attend the underwater wedding, so this pair is not broke the record for number of guests on an underwater wedding. Italian couple owns the record with 261 guests, as reports the Telegraph.

Sharks have become endangered due to the large catches and changes in their ecosystem caused by human activities. According to the International Union for the preservation of nature, 50 of the 300 species of sharks are classified as vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered.

Giant crabs in Antarctic

In the depths of Antarctica, there are a giant royal crabs, whose range of legs reaches more than one meter. All of this happens due the climate changes. The scientists have predicted this, but only for a hundred years from now.

Wherever these crabs go, they destroy an ecosystem that evolved 14 million years. Sounds like a horror movie plot, but in fact it is a natural phenomenon that is currently taking place. Around one million crab invasion was performed in almost all of Palmer Peninsula, at depths of 950 to 1,400 meters.

Video-recording made with a remotely operated submersible showed that specimens of species Neolithodes yaldwyni already settled parts of the Antarctic Peninsula. Records reveal that they use tips of their long crab legs to dig and tumble the sensitive sediments.

Craig Smith from the University Hawaii at Manoa said that this will probably change the processes of deposition of sediments, which will then affect the diversity of animal communities living in those sediments.

It seems that these crabs have too big appetite. In areas that are occupied they have already vanished sea urchins, sea cucumbers, sea lilies and stars, a number of different species that survived even the four times smaller than usual.

The problem is that existing marine organisms do not have any protection from these crabs. Their shells are fragile and simply never had to deal with a large armored crabs, as says professor of polar and marine biology Meklintok James.

Scientists suspect that the crabs arrived with warmer currents. In 1982, the lowest temperature in the area were about 1.2 C, which is too cold for them. However, until last year it rose to 1.47 C.

The higher parts of the Southern Ocean are cooler due to the influx of cold water resulting melting ice sheet, however, scientists predict that in twenty years could be enough to heat and therefore settle crabs on numerous shallower areas.
